Job Description


We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced restaurant supervisor to join our growing team.  In this position, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of our fast-paced restaurant within an assisted living facility.  You will be expected to deliver a high-quality experience to our guests and motivate our staff to ensure excellent customer service.  Supervisors will be responsible for maintaining quality.  Exceptional management skills and a strong understanding of customer service are a must.

Primary Responsibilities

•         Oversee all front-of-house restaurant operations with communication through to the back-of-house staff

•         Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service; respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally

•         Maintain quality control for all food served

•         Analyze staff evaluations and feedback to improve the customer’s experience

•         Project future needs for goods, kitchen supplies, cleaning products, communicate these needs to manager responsible for placing orders in timely fashion

•         Oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards

•         Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs

•         Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff

•         Ensure staff members are held accountable for end-of-shift responsibilities and tasks, make sure their work is signed off upon before the end of each shift

•         Communicate with managers on a daily basis to express concerns related to residents and staff

•         Handling cash drawer and closing out at the end of each night

Job Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

•         High school diploma required

•         Significant work experience in management and the hospitality industry

•         Strong working knowledge of food and beverage service

•         Ability to use basic computer software

•         Strong leadership skills

•         Decisive and critical thinker

The ideal candidate will be available 11:00am – 8:00pm on an alternating schedule, weekends required.  This is a full-time, 40 hour per week, benefits eligible position.  Please submit your resume for consideration.  Hourly wage will be based upon experience and is negotiable.
